    Introduction

Go in search of the thundering herds of the legendary wildebeest migration on a wildlife safari in Tanzania. Experience the power of the migration up close in the vast savannas of the northern or southern Serengeti, depending on the season.

Are you ready for the adventure of your life-time??

Scheduled safari: “Follow the Big Migration”

    Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport

Your guide will meet you at the Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to your first hotel close to Arusha, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 2: Discover the Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, transfer to the Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. This park with a typical african scenery will provide you the chance to see a variety of wild animals including large herds of Elephants. Enjoy lunch at one of the park picnic sites. In the afternoon you will reach your Camp where you can refresh yourself in the pool.

Day 3: Explore the Lake Manyara National Park

In the morning you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park.

This salty lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. On your exploration of the park you will see monkeys, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, elephant and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. You will reach your tented Camp in the afternoon and stay here for 1 night.

    Day 4: Masai & Serengeti

Ready for an „African-Massage“ ? A drive on bumpy roads across the gently rolling Masai plains with scattered acacia trees. On route, you will pass many Masai in their colorful dress walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding their cattle and driving donkey carts. After a few hours you will find yourself in the middle of a game drive through the famous Serengeti. You will reach your luxury tented Camp in the afternoon and stay here for 1 night.

Day 5 & 6: We follow the Migration

Full day game drive in Serengeti to track the large herds. Depending on the season we will go to the north to see the Mara crossing or to the south in the spectacular Ndutu area, where we stay for 2 nights in a luxury tented camp.

    Day 7: Ngorongoro Area

We have to leave the Camp in the early morning to reach another highlight of your safari tour – the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater boasts some of the easiest and most rewarding game viewing in East Africa. This is Big 5 country, all contained in the world’s largest caldera. Your spectacular Lodge at the crater rim awaits you in the late afternoon.

Day 8: Crater Game drive & the end of your trip

Early morning Crater Game Drive– sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife. Transfer to Arusha.
